3/17/20 By Devin Saxon. Libertarian Alexander Martin has petitioned to run for a Senate seat in Legislative District 20, which emcompasses the Mitchel, SD area. Should nobody else also file a petition with the Secretary of State by the last Tuesday of March as a Libertarian Candidate Martin will automatically be placed on the 2020 ballot. Martin ran for Secretary of State as Libertarian in 2002 as well as for District 19 House as a Libertarian in 2006.
