Good news everyone, the Hedgehog Watchdog is taking it’s show on the road this summer as we head West…. River that is! We are pleased to announce that we will be attending and covering all of the exciting activities of FreedomFest in Rapid City July 21-24th.
Billed as “The Ultimate Summit for the Liberty Movement” this annual conference is usually held in Las Vegas. The conference was canceled in 2020 due to Covid 19 restrictions in Nevada.
Mark Skousen the founder of FreedomFest had this to say on his website 8.10.2020
“Given the never-ending restrictions and regulations in Nevada, we’ve decided not to hold FreedomFest in Las Vegas next year. For the first time, we are moving to another location… the Mount Rushmore Convention Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, July 21-24, 2021. Our keynote speaker will be Governor Kristi Noem, who may be a presidential contender in 2024.”

The event also features The Anthem Film Festival
“The Anthem Film Festival is the only fully-juried film festival dedicated to libertarian principles. This year it takes place at the Elks Theatre, built in 1912 and fully refurbished. Enjoy screenings of short and full-length documentary and narrative films that celebrate freedom.”
The Libertarian Party of South Dakota will also have a booth at the event, with handouts and merchandise available.
