The Libertarian Presidential ticket is officially on the ballot here in South Dakota as of Monday August 5th. The Presidential candidate for the Party is Chase Oliver with Vice Presidential candidate Mike Ter Maat joining the team. Chase Oliver won the very hotly contested nomination at the Libertarian Nation Convention in late May forming a coalition with Mike Ter Maat as his VP to finally secure the nomination.
Chase Oliver is a Georgia resident who many may remember running for US Senate against Hershel Walker in 2022. Mike Ter Maat was a candidate for the Presidential nomination as well but lacking the votes to win he chose to unify the delegates under Chase Oliver and he became the Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate.
